Scenic Street Views

Sometimes I think, "Why didn't the Google van go there?" Sometimes I think, "Why DID the Google van go there?!" Sometimes I think, "Wow. I'm glad the Google van went there!"

These are just real places the Google vehicle went that I thought were interesting enough to be blogged about. I try to leave the funny street views to other sites (there are plenty of those already), and stick to places I'd like to see someday (or have been lucky enough to visit already).

  • I was putting together some posts about the awe-inspiring street views in Canadian mountains and stumbled upon this. Yeah, I don’t know either. Those wacky dudes at Google. Edit: Apparently they do “Google Ski View” in some places in Canada. Naturally, that produces some amazing views, but I’m not going to post them all here. Seems a bit off topic.
